James Poulos grew up building forts in the woods outside of Atlanta, GA. An avid tinkerer and born problem solver, James went to school for art at the University of Georgia and received an MFA from the University of Wisconsin in Madison. After school, James spent a few years working in Chicago making concrete countertops before moving back to Atlanta where he has been doing metal fabrication for Smithworks Iron & Design for the last 15 years.
